With an impressive demonstration in natural conditions, Progress Technik Ltd. once again proved itself as a leader in the supply and implementation of high-performance machinery for the forestry sector. The event took place in a beech forest in the area of Chiflik village, within the territory of the State Forestry Enterprise – Troyan, and attracted professionals from across the country.
On a site with a slope exceeding 20°, guests witnessed a real-time demonstration of timber harvesting and forwarding using the powerful PONSSE Bear harvester, equipped with the H8 head, as well as the PONSSE Buffalo forwarder – both machines well-known for their performance in difficult terrain. For the first time in Bulgaria, under such challenging conditions, the latest generation 6-cylinder forestry skidder Welte W230 was also presented, impressing attendees with its power and precision.
Representatives from the Northwest State Enterprise – Vratsa, its regional divisions, leading logging companies, partner organizations, and forestry sector experts took part in the demonstration. All attendees had the opportunity to closely examine the technical specifications of the Welte W230, along with a range of winches, forestry trailers with cranes, and 4×4 drives from the Slovenian manufacturer KRPAN, which is also part of the product portfolio of Progress Technik Ltd.
The event reaffirmed Progress Technik Ltd.’s position as a trusted partner to the Bulgarian forestry industry, offering not just equipment, but complete solutions for efficient and safe logging.
